Yesterday was the first day of classes for the new semester. Monday is always a dreaded day, but with my first class at 11, I am confident I will suffer from fewer cases of the Mundays than most. The problem I foresee is that their cases of the Mundays could end up negatively affecting me and giving me a case of the Mundays too and pretty soon everyone’s got a case of the Munday’s and the terrorists have won. I don’t know what I’m talking about so it’s time for a new paragraph.

With my return to what I like to call “law school base camp” I return to my dwelling beneath the “guls.” As I drove there the fleeting thought crossed my mind that maybe things will be better in 2018. I rolled into Vermillion and up to my garage to see the most egregious invasion of my space by the guls yet.

While some of you know I am honest, I don’t exaggerate, and you believe me when I create diagrams and tell you of the abuses in past entries, I’m certain that at least a few people out there were skeptical. Be skeptical no more. We’ve all heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. I don’t want a thousand, just a few choice four letter words. dumb, mean, evil, etc.

My backing skills are renowned far and wide so I was able to squeeze my car into the garage despite the parking job of one of the guls. Maybe it’s laziness, maybe it’s inconsiderateness, or maybe, just maybe, it’s complete ignorance but I can see that the guls will be no different in 2018 than they were in 2017.

* I prefer the British spelling – it looks much sexier
